instill an awakening of spirit and self-awareness in those who
wear our uniquely designed jewelry pieces. We love the world
around us and the myriad of shapes and colors which decorate
it, and try to bring those elements into our designs when we
create them. We make every piece by hand from Art Clay silver,
using a firing technique that results in 99.9% pure silver. Each
piece is hand stamped and decorated, and many are
embellished with freshwater pearls and glass beads. Finally,
they are suspended on hand dyed lengths of beautifully
ombred ribbon yarn which we purchase from Wales, or heavy
sterling rolo chain.
Our company began in Dayton, Minnesota in 1995. Our
designs have evolved with us over the years, and we relocated
to Charlotte, NC four years ago. We are constantly adding new
pieces to our collection - check back often to see them!
And yes, there really is a Chinacat. She's quite oblivious to the
fact that we have made her name famous, and spends most of
her days in quiet relaxation around our studio. She was
named by one of our daughters after the Grateful Dead song,
Chinacat Sunflower.
